You can support GALHA by making a donation or by joining as a member. GALHA has members in a number of other countries and welcomes new members throughout the world, though most members live in the UK.

Our vision

Our vision is of a world world where everyone accepts lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights as human rights, in an open society free of religious privilege and discrimination, where everyone has the freedom to live their life according to Humanist values if they choose to do so.

Joining GALHA is your chance to be part of this important work. Your membership fee supports GALHA in its work to gain equality for humanism, to promote humanism to gays and lesbians, and to combat religious homophobia and religious privilege. Membership is open to all those who support our aims and is vital in increasing the financial resources we have to pursue our aims as well as providing the moral support of increased numbers. Why join?

• Print copies of the regular GALHA newsletter delivered to your door (UK).
• Invites to GALHA's regular monthly public events.
• Access to invite-only special events, including our annual residential weekend and annual lunch.
• Access to GALHA's email discussion group, where you can exchange information and engage in debate with other members (there is also a female-only email group).
• The right to attend, input to and vote at the General Meetings that set GALHA's strategic direction and actions - and seek election to the Committee.

Annual rates

• Standard membership (UK): £24.
• Concessionary rate (unemployed individuals): £12.
• Joint membership (two or more people living at the same address, receiving single shared mailings): £30.
• Overseas membership (in countries other than the UK): £30.
